In Mithila, Sage Vishwamitra and brothers Rama and Lakshmana prepare to build a temple honoring Lord Vishnu. Demon king Ravana fails to lift Shiva's bow. Vishwamitra refuses Rama and Lakshmana lodging, but allows them to see Mithila.
