Season 4

For the finale the contestants had to cook a three course meal, one hour for each course.The decision was close enough where the judges were considering a draw.

The remaining three contestants were given the same exact ingredients they used to create the dish they cooked and presented for their first audition.

The four contestants were divided into two teams and had two mystery boxes containing fifty ingredients each and were required to make a three course menu consisting of an appetizer, entreé and dessert.

The remaining 5 contestants had to cook 50 portions for a charity lunch hosted by guest judge Paula Deen. The dish consisted of 1 protein and 2 sides. Deen would select the top 2 dishes and those two would be safe from the Pressure Test.

The judges' invited their sons to create a mystery box consisting of fifteen items. The contestants then had sixty minutes to create a restaurant worthy dish using these items and items in a limited pantry.

The previously eliminated contestants were given a second chance to win back their white apron.

The Top 7 chefs compete in a mystery-box challenge in which they create dishes inspired by their loved ones. Later, an elimination round featuring a tag-team sushi challenge takes place.

The Top 8 chefs are taken to a remote field for an overnight challenge in which they must cook for sustenance and create lunch for the judges using limited ingredients. Later, the losing team competes in a spun-sugar-dessert pressure test.

The remaining nine contestants had ninety minutes to make a sausage dish from scratch using a meat grinder.

For their next team challenge the contestants cooked fish tacos for one hundred and one suffers at Huntington Beach, California.

A celebrity guest judge created a Mystery Box filled with ingredients from Mexico. They had sixty minutes to create a dish using only these ingredients.

In the next team challenge, the remaining contestants cooked for a wedding reception where they cooked the entrée and Graham cooked the appetizer and Gordon cooked the desert. The menu was created from the likes and dislikes of the bride and groom. The judges would determine which two members of the losing team would compete in the Pressure Test which was to make a dozen Macarons.

The contestants had ninety minutes to cook a dish with parts from a pig's head specifically the ears tongue, cheek, snout using other ingredients from the pantry and cook in any style and using any technique they preferred.

The auditions continue where each contestant is given 5 minutes to cook and present their dish in front of and to the judges. If they receive at least two yes's from the three judges, they can advance to the next stage of the competition.
